Our gang of resourceful raccoons are plotting and planning to make sure that the operation goes off flawlessly. It’s all going down from December 5-8, 2024 in Rosemont, Illinois at Midwest FurFest 2024!
Our team has cleverly devised a broad array of distractions including some amazingly talented Guests of Honor, fantastic events, and all sorts of panels and performances. Midwest FurFest was founded with two basic purposes: to provide our community with a place to educate themselves in the arts of anthropomorphic literature, art and performance; and to facilitate fundraising and donations to non-profit organizations which promote the wellbeing of humans and/or animals.
What is Midwest FurFest?
Midwest FurFest is an annual convention which takes place in the west suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. We come together to celebrate the furry fandom, which includes art, literature and performances based around anthropomorphic animals.Midwest FurFest is a production of Midwest Furry Fandom, Inc, a 501(c)3 (non-profit corporation).
Since 2000, the convention has grown from 388 attendees to more than 13,000; the largest convention of its type in the world. We are proud to have raised over $800,000 for various social, wildlife, and animal related charities. Additionally, the Midwest Furfest Art Show generates over $75,000 each year for the talented artists and makers of furry fandom through auctions, donations, and benefits.
